We went to La Jolla a few weeks ago. Of course it was a blast- it really is heaven on Earth. Bo really took off with swimming. The first day her wouldn't get in the water and by the end of the first day he was swimming on his own. He is so much fun. He would sit in the jacuzzi with random strangers and talk to them like he had known them for years. Hershal loved playing wiffle ball with Tyler. He and Adam played ball during the afternoons. He loved the junk food at the beach- his favorite were oreos. Anni and Alyssa were inseparable. It was fun because this was the first year we let her kinda go off with Alyssa without an adult. I just really mean from the jacuzzi to the beach- that kind of thing. She and I body surfed and she actually caught a few waves boogie boarding. She was really good at it this year. On Sunday we went to the normal church and time and it happened to be Stake Conference this year- luckily we found out where it was and we were able to attend. I learned something from one of the speakers. A women told about a loss of her infant son- it touched me because she talked about the plan of happiness and how her son was not "lost" but that he was indeed waiting for her in heaven. I can not imagine what it would be like to lose a child. But my heart goes out to her, I have always tried to think of mothers who have lost children-especially in my prayers- I admire strong women like that.

Billy Bubblegum
I had the funniest thing happen in Primary. A couple weeks ago I introduced "Billy Bubblegum" to the Primary. The lounder they sing the bigger the bubblegum gets. And the kids love seeing Billy blow the piece of gum. When they do so thier best they get to pop the piece of gum with a pin. When the balloon pops all the kids scream and we have a fun time. Well all the kids except for one! Adam taught singing time for me last Sunday beacuse I was at home with Nash. He came home and told me one of my friend's son was crying because he was scared of "Billy". I felt so bad. So sorry Billy but you will have to wait a while before you get to come back to Primary.
Recover and Recharged
It feels so good to be feeling better again. Nash has been the sickest of all. He even went into the ER last Saturday night. I forget how awful it is to have a sick houseful. Poor Anni had to miss her end of the year class party because of her fever. Luckily she handled it pretty well-probably letting her watch 4 movies in a row helped. She watched Hairspray 3 times and High School Musical after that. Nash went through a 2 week period where he didn't eat hardly anything. This morning was so great because he acted semi-normal. He ate at his high chair and crawled around. I just dropped Anni off at school for the last 3 hours. Hopefully she'll do OK. Bo is sick and is milking it for all its worth.
