Hershals first day of Kindergarten

What a big boy Hershal was today as he went to school. Finally he is big enough to ride the bus. I am so grateful that Anni is there to help him. He got dressed this morning almost a whole hour early. He picked his first day of school lunch- The menu was a tuna sandwich, peach, juice and pudding and Doritos. He was so proud of this day. I hope I remember this forever.

Annis first day of 2nd Grade

Anni looked beautiful this morning as she headed off the Mrs. Baxter's second grade class. I followed the bus to school and when we met up, Anni told me she wanted to go by herself. She is very responsible and stylish!

Summer Days

2 weeks until school starts. We are trying to think of things to do for the last 2 weeks of summer. The kids are fighting a lot and I am trying to be patient. In a lot of ways I don't blame them because they get tired of each other and me. A few days ago I tried doing stations. The stations were cloring, play dogh, gymnastics and dancing- these are the ones the kids picked. It went well actually, I gave them 15 minutes at each station and they rotated around. Hershal loves the camera and Nash- he asked me if I would take a picture of him "babysitting" Nash. He is very good with him.

Hershal and his lost tooth

Hershal lost his first tooth. He is so excited, I know this because he is talking about it all day long. He asks, "how old do you have to be to lose your tooth?" And then a second later, " Do only big boys lose their teeth?" He is cracking me up. I wish I could capture his voice because he has a cute voice. He had to call everyone he knew to let them know that he lost his tooth. The tooth fairy came last night and brought him 2 dollars. I over heard him telling everyone that the tooth fairy gave him 100 million dollars! I'm not sure that will ever happen-but he can keep dreaming!
